Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting an experienced Groundworker / Ganger on behalf of their client who are a well-known & established groundwork/ civil engineering subcontractor in Port Talbot.

Due to the nature of our client's varied offering, no day is the same and all applicants must be open to taking on other roles to fulfil their contracts - no two days are the same.

You could build on your existing skillset by completing extra training and qualifications. With experience, you could become a Site Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in groundworks / civils
  • In-depth knowledge of groundworks processes and construction methods.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Valid CCNSG or ability to get it.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Full driving license.

Expected hours: 40 - 50 hours per week.

You will require a flexible approach to working hours, as overtime (paid at premium rates) and holiday cover will be expected. Benefits:* A market competitive salary - negotiable depending on experience* 30 days holidays per annum* auto-enrolment pension scheme
