2nd Line Support Engineer

Location: Wales, Port Talbot

Inside IR35 Contract / 3 Months

£125.00 to £130.00 per day

We are looking for a skilled and motivated 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT support team. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, and collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to escalated technical issues and resolve within SLA.

  • Troubleshoot network, server, and software issues.

  • Work closely with the 1st Line team for effective issue resolution.

  • Document and maintain knowledge base articles.

  • Provide proactive support and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in 2nd line or technical support.

  • Strong understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.

  • Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and networking.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
