Do you have purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment? Are you looking for an exciting long term role within a global organisation operating over multiple sites in the UK offering a first class training and development program and excellent benefits?

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a Buyer to join the team working out of their state of the art facility near Port Talbot. The successful candidate will be working with the growing purchasing team to ensure all stock is maintained to keep up with production. You will be responsible for drafting and managing terms and conditions as well as preparing tender documentation and purchasing orders. You will play a key part in managing new and existing supplier relationships and supporting the procurement manager, gathering data for upcoming projects.

You will be joining a world renowned manufacturing company currently employing over 5000 operating over multiple sites, worldwide. This site in particular is expanding at a rapid rate due to increased investment and workload. This is a great role within a company known for excellent training, benefits and staff retention, you will be given access to multiple training courses to help strengthen your skills. The 12 month contract is likely to be extended to a permanent position.
