We are an award-winning, dynamic Welsh-based production company looking to expand our finance team. We are seeking a dedicated and organised Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance department and work closely with a team of four. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a well-established, forward-thinking company, and to play a key role in maintaining our financial accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage purchase invoices, ensuring they are accurately recorded and paid in a timely manner.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain and update supplier accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end procedures.
- Handle enquiries from suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Support the finance team with general administrative tasks.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work as part of a small, close-knit team.
- Knowledge of accounting software (experience with Sage or similar is advantageous).
- A proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
