With a brand-new factory opening in Fforestfach, we’re seeking a motivated and experienced Transport Manager to lead our delivery team and manage our fleet operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Motivate: Manage, mentor, and inspire our team of drivers, fostering a high-performance culture that ensures smooth daily operations.
  • Route Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement efficient delivery routes to ensure all shipments are delivered on time.
  • Fleet Management: Oversee vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring the fleet is well-maintained and fully operational at all times.
  • Hands-On Leadership: Be ready to step in and drive when necessary, setting an example for the team with hands-on support.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Act as the primary point of contact between the transport team and customers, ensuring outstanding service delivery.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all transport operations comply with relevant legal, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key metrics, maintain accurate records, and manage budgets to continuously optimise transport efficiency.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven leadership experience in transport or logistics
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of route planning, fleet management, and transportation regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Leadership: A proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Transport Management Systems (TMS).
