We are an award-winning, dynamic Welsh-based production company looking to expand our finance team. We are seeking a dedicated and organised Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance department and work closely with a team of four. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a well-established, forward-thinking company, and to play a key role in maintaining our financial accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage purchase invoices, ensuring they are accurately recorded and paid in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update supplier accounts.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end procedures.
  • Handle enquiries from suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the finance team with general administrative tasks.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a small, close-knit team.
  • Knowledge of accounting software (experience with Sage or similar is advantageous).
  • A proactive approach with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
