Candidate required: CCDO Site Operative
Location: Port Talbot
Job Summary
We are seeking Site Operativeson behalf of our client, working in Port Talbot. Our client is currently working on a large scale industrial project.This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining high safety standards.
Duties
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment on-site.
- Prepare and clean work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and assist tradespeople as required.
- Conduct soft strip demo work.
- Operate basic tools and machinery safely under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the site, including disposing of waste materials appropriately.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with site policies.
- Report any hazards or incidents to the site supervisor immediately.
Requirements
- A valid CCDO and CCNSG card is essential for this role.
- Previous experience in a labouring or construction role is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physically fit, with the capability to perform manual handling tasks.
- A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices on-site.
