As a Support Worker, you will work Monday - Friday 08:45am - 16:10pm supporting service users within a Day centre based within Rhondda Cynon Taff.

Your duties will include:

  • Meet & greet service users between 08:45am - 09:30am
  • Support service users going into their daily activity groups encouraging them take part.
  • Support service users at break times. There will be 2 per day both morning & afternoon. Times to be confirmed each morning.
  • Assist service users with their snacks such as tea, toast, biscuits, cakes etc
  • Engage and encourage service users to interact with activities such as cooking, art, playing musical instruments, story time, reminiscing of old days, reading etc
  • Assist service users at lunch times - cutting up food, guiding & encouraging them to eat
  • Assist with personal care as & when needed
  • Assist service users getting ready to go home - help them onto the busses, taxis etc
