Your new company:You will be working for a residential children's provider that is driven and looking to expand. They support children and young people with emotional behavioural disorder and complex needs. You'll play a crucial role in delivering support at a residential home located in Porthcawl. You will be joining the team to support an experienced registered manager to help this organisation achieve its vision.

Your new role:As a deputy manager, you will assist the registered manager with the running of the home, ensuring all children and young people are supported in every way possible. You will help to develop the staff team and build relationships with the local community and external agencies. You will also be responsible for assisting with managing budgets, updating care plans, producing rota's and staff induction and training. What you'll need to succeed

  • Driving Licence - essential
  • Experience in a deputy manager role
  • QCF/ NVQ L3 in Children and Young People with the desire to complete L4 and above
  • Good communication skills
  • Teamwork skills
  • Ability to navigate a challenging situation
  • Post subject to enhanced DBS check
