Technical Manager (Legal & Compliance)
Location: LlanforSalary: £50,000Hours: 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday (on-site)
Key Responsibilities:
- Approve and review suppliers, raw materials, and services to ensure compliance.
- Conduct internal and external audits, addressing any non-conformances.
- Carry out risk assessments (VACCP) and monitor industry regulation updates.
- Manage compliance databases, including allergens, supplier approvals, and product lists.
- Oversee the specification team, ensuring product launches stay on track.
- Maintain key certifications such as RSPO and Rainforest Alliance.
- Provide reports and updates to customers and internal teams.
- Train and develop team members while ensuring health & safety standards are met.
About You:
- Experience in a technical food industry role (bakery preferred).
- Previous leadership experience within a technical team.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (BRCGS, HACCP, customer codes).
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with customer portals and compliance systems.
- Auditor training and experience in conducting audits (desirable).
