Our client, a prominent organisation in the Defence and Security sector, is seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join their team on a contract basis. This role is integral to their production operations, ensuring high-quality outputs and efficiency improvements.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing of production tasks as directed by the Production Controller
  • Identification of material required to achieve production tasks
  • Monitoring build quality, reporting of production snags in accordance with company processes
  • Assisting with continuous improvements to facility operations to increase efficiencies
  • Travelling within the UK and overseas for company business as required
  • Ensuring compliance with company IMS operating procedures
  • Upkeeping of project route cards during production
  • Conducting local Health & Safety Risk assessments
  • Maintaining a safe working environment to protect self and others
  • Keeping facility and work areas tidy as part of normal daily activities
  • Ensuring the safe use of COSHH items
  • Upkeeping tooling and integration facility equipment
  • Carrying out other tasks within ability and competence as directed


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in production within the Defence and Security sector
  • Understanding of production processes and quality monitoring
  • Knowledge of IMS operating procedures and continuous improvement techniques
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas for business purposes
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Commitment to health and safety practices
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
