Operations Coordinator

Job Location:Portland, Dorset (Near Portland Castle)

Job Type:Permanent

Salary:Salary depending on level of experience - £28,000 - £38,000 per annum

Hours:Monday Friday, 8:00am 5.00pm + free onsite parking

A specialist Engineering company who has a great reputation in the industry for not only their experience but also that no job is too difficult for them to undertake is currently recruiting for an Operations Coordinator to join their busy team.

The role will see you support the management team and help them with all administrative tasks, producing quotes, coordinating the company works to clients, liaising with customers to gather information and advise of progress, liaising with purchasing and stores to make sure that the engineers have all materials needed to complete jobs and general administrative tasks.

We are looking for someone with the following skills / experience:

Excellent administration and organisational skills

Is a competent typist

Excellent attention to detail

Is well organised and can multitask

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

The ability to multitask and adapt to a changing workload whilst taking on additional tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business

Strong IT skills including the use of Microsoft packages (Word / Excel / Outlook)

Able to work independently and to deadlines

Previous experience in a similar capacity

Within your role, you will be undertaking:

Supporting the Management Team with all day-to-day administration duties and projects.

Assisting with Confidential and Sensitive information

Handling internal and external queries

Maintaining schedules and documentation.

Producing quotes

Speaking to customers to gathering PO numbers and other information required to open up a works order

Liaising with various internal departments and external suppliers to ensure right equipment and materials are available or ordered for upcoming works

Making sure all documents, passes and H&S documents are organised to all Engineers on site

Keeping company documents up to date.

Certification upkeep (Health & Safety, Insurances, Training, Vehicles etc)
