The Spa at Dunluce Lodge is a luxurious, cosy retreat along the stunning North Antrim coastline. Our spa offers a unique blend of Irish hospitality, spa and wellness therapies all set alongside breathtaking ocean views. We are committed to providing personalised treatments, world-class service, and an exceptional spa journey for every guest.

As our Spa Manager, you will play a key role in supporting all pre-opening requirements and, once the spa is open, lead the daily operations to deliver a seamless, luxurious experience for all of our guests.You will manage a small, dedicated team, oversee all treatments, and implement wellness programs and activations while upholding the high standards of The Spa at Dunluce Lodge. You will also collaborate with three luxury spa product partners to offer exclusive, personalized treatments and drive targeted retail offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all spa operations, including staff management, scheduling, and client services
  • Ensure that each guest experiences a personalised, high-quality spa journey
  • Manage relationships with product partners
  • Create and implement signature treatments and promotions
  • Collaborate on marketing initiatives to drive spa revenue and increase guest engagement
  • Maintain financial oversight of the spa, including budgeting, reporting and expense management
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain a pristine spa environment
  • Develop and implement staff training programs, focusing on customer service excellence and product knowledge
  • 5 Star personal presentation - an excellent example for the team
  • Confident with HR responsibilities, stock and retail management
  • Hiring and onboarding experience, including trade testing and assessment of spa and beauty therapists.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in spa management or as a member of a senior spa team within a luxury environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Passionate about the spa and wellness industry - knowledgeable about trends all over the world
  • Confident and creative - able to curate new spa promotions and wellness activations
  • Exceptional organizational and financial management skills
  • Familiarity with wellness trends and luxury spa treatments around the world
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain excellent guest relationships

Highly Desirable

  • Experience with Journey Spa Software
  • Proven qualifications from a specialised spa management course
  • Certified massage and beauty therapist/ CIDESCO or CIBTAC qualified
