The timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts
Preparing and completing monthly sales returns
Critical analysis of variances between budgeted, prior year and actual figures
Maintaining and reconciling the fixed-asset register, including depreciation postings
Managing accruals and prepayments
Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet nominals
Weekly bank reconciliations against the finance tracker, ensuring accurate project tracking
Preparation and reconciliation of VAT returns
Assisting with year-end preparations
Business partnering to provide financial insights across departments

What you will need:

Previous experience in a similar role, such as Management Accountant / Senior Management Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant / Commercial Accountant / Accountant
Qualified in ACCA / CIMA / ACA or qualified by experience
A proactive, hands-on attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented approach
Proficiency in Xero and intermediate Excel skills
