Financial Controller - £90k - Portsmouth
Platform recruitment have partnered with a leading defence company. They are looking to take on a Senior Financial Controller to join their team, with a clear pathway to becoming the financial director. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Financial Controller within regulated industries like aerospace and defence.
The main aim will to be to work alongside executive management to create a budget that will keep the company’s costs down while also looking forwards to potential future
growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
+ Supervision of external accounting services and office P&L
+ Management of accounting records and financial compliance
+ Oversight of financial statements and data analysis
+ Monitoring Project EACs and milestone schedules
Requirements:
+ Revenue & financial forecasting
+ Accounting qualification e.g. (ACCA or CIMA) or similar.
+ A good understanding of tax codes and laws
+ Strong analytical skills to analyse financial reports.
This role will require you to be able to obtain SC Clearance.
The salary will be up to £90k depending on previous experience with great company benefits including a bonus.
