A high-growth financial services business based near Portsmouth are seeking to recruit an Interim Financial Controller for a period of 3-6 months.
Reporting to the CFO you'll have financial oversight for new acquisitions coming in to the company portfolio:
Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Controller
- Ensure effective financial controls are in place
- Preparation of monthly reporting, deliverable to the Head of Finance, for group consolidated reporting
- Support the M&A team as required including M&A Integration and Completion Accounts
- Working with business unit stakeholders to provide financial information and to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
- Responsible for working with the auditors to provide the necessary information for group audit
- Support the CFO as part of the annual budgeting round and the ongoing reforecasting process and reporting.Â
- Business unit cash flow management including cashflow forecasting
Skills and Experience required for the Financial Controller
- Experience of working in a fast-paced role, ideally in the financial services sector
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- M&A / Integration experience
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
