Management Accountant

CMA is working with a recognisable brand in the Portsmouth, Hampshire area to recruit a management accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a new position and will take an important role leading a small team. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous management accounts experience to take the next step in their career into a leadership role.What will the Management Accountant role involve?

• Lead on the production of management accounts for all entities;
• Present management accounts with commentary to the finance senior leadership team;
• Management of two members of staff;
• Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process for each individual entity.

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy:

• ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalent;
• Strong management accounts experience including production of full set of management accounts with commentary;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong IT skills including advanced Excel.
