We are recruiting a Semi Senior Accountant to join this team-oriented practice in Portsmouth! You will need the following skills and experience:

• Experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Studying AAT/ACCA/ACA or fully qualified.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.

Your role will include:

• Bookkeeping and supporting accounts prep
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
• Payroll
• Responding to questions and queries
• Ad hoc project work
