Senior Management Accountant

An opportunity has arisen to join a vibrant, expanding Business Services Group as a Senior Management Accountant.  Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role will have full ownership of overseeing and collating the management accounts whilst also looking after a team of 5.

What will the Senior Management Accountant role involve?

• Ownership of the management accounts process including preparation and consolidation of monthly management accounts including review and variance analysis of monthly results;
• Presentation of management information to Senior Leadership Team;
• Cash flow forecasting and variance analysis to actuals;
• Management of the external audit process including liaising with the external auditors and assisting in the preparation of the Financial Statements.

Suitable Candidate for the Senior Management Accountant vacancy:

• Applicants for the Senior Management Accountant will ideally hold a full accountancy qualification with previous experience of successful managing a small team;
• The ability to work effectively with non-finance key stakeholders in relaying and understanding KPI’s and the financial performance of the business will be essential.

• The role will be offered on a hybrid working basis with the successful applicant expected to work in the office 3 days a week following the successful completion of their probation period.
