CMA are pleased to be partnering with a local charity to recruit an Assistant Accountant/Bookkeeper on an interim basis, to assist the newly appointed Finance Manager with a backlog of work. The role is offered on a part-time basis of 10-15 hours per week over 2 or 3 days.Â
What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?
- Bank reconciliations - including clearing a historic backlog.
- Prepayments & Accruals.
- Journal postings.
- Bookkeeping duties up to trial balance.
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:
- Xero experience would be advantageous but not essential.
- Charity experience would be desired.
- Ability to work autonomously and suggest improvements.
- Happy to work in the office.
