The Outsourcing Senior -Bookkeeping role based in Portsmouth will play a vital role in providing full scope accounting solutions to our clients in the professional services industry. This role requires a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills to maintain relationships with clients.

Are you interested in working for a rapidly evolving firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisors.
The opportunity
As part of your role as an Outsourcing Senior?you will work closely with clients, both on site and in the office, to prepare their records, VAT returns and monthly/quarterly?management accounts. Due to having access to client records in real time, you will be able to have insightful conversations and work with our range of specialist teams (VAT, employment tax, corporation tax, fund raising, etc.) to provide our clients with proactive advice and help guide the future of their business.
You will be working towards becoming a keen business adviser, learning how to:

- Add commentary to management accounts
- Prepare 3 way forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow)
- Create KPI dashboards for clients
- Undertake reviews of client processes, suggest and Implement improvements
Profile
A successful Outsourcing Senior should have:
- AAT qualified
- Working towards ACA/ACCA/CA (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting procedures.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a team and lead when necessary.
