Project Support Coordinator (Internal Comms) - 6 Month FTC - Portsmouth - Up to £35,000 Pro RataOur client is a well known employer on the South Coast, operating from a Head Office in Portsmouth where this role will be based. Initially recruited as a 6 month fixed term contract position, there is the potential scope for this contract to be extended or the role to be made permanent in due course.This is a new role in the company and will support the roll out of a large project involving a large number of people in various local locations by coordinating, organising, facilitating, planning and managing related internal communications.We also welcome applications from people outside of "internal comms", perhaps you have working in administration, project support or a training coordination or events planning background where facilitating, organising and pulling things together with effective communication are paramount. Strong administrative skills are also important in this role.This role is office based 4 days per week (with 1 day working from home). Project Support Coordinator (Internal Comms) - The Rewards

  • Salary up to £35,000 (pro rata)

Project Support Coordinator (Internal Comms) - Requirements

  • Highly organised and able to plan, coordinate, and facilitate effectively
  • Able to produce effective internal communications ensuring the tone is appropriate to the level of internal audience
  • Fluent in the use of Microsoft products (primarily Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Exposure to creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Programmes etc
  • Experience with social media (and company intranet is preferred but not essential)
  • Articulate writer and able to compose internal comms accurately
  • Proactive by completing tasks using own initiative and being adaptable to support other areas of the business as required
  • Some exposure to administration or project support

Project Support Coordinator (Internal Comms) - Responsibilities

  • Compiling project status updates for weekly board packs
  • Develop and maintain the training and communications plan
  • Drafting informative but engaging internal communications to share with colleagues
  • Co-ordination and facilitation of training for colleagues (there is no training delivery involved)
  • Support with booking & setting up of meeting rooms
