Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) for locum shifts at a UTC in Portsmouth. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering advanced clinical care, supporting patients with urgent and emergency health needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for patients with a wide range of urgent health conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills and knowledge to make informed decisions and manage complex cases.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registered Nurse, Paramedic or Allied Health Professional with a Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., NMC, HCPC).
  • Extensive experience in urgent or emergency care settings.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
