Torchlight Recruitment Solutions Ltd are looking for recent Graduates who are looking for their first opportunity to join a well established multi-disciplinary Design Consultancyproviding services to the Building Services Industry duringa period of expansive growth and success.
This role will be working on a number of MOD and Defence projects and give the candidate the opportunity for continuedlearning (e.g Chartership) and a clear and structured career path with a dedicated graduate trainer.
The requirement is for a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer. There may also be an opportunity for a Design Engineer with an electrical bias.
We are looking for people who have recently graduated (University or Apprenticeship) with a degree in design engineering - as part of your degree you will have ideally had exposure to the building services industry and gained some understanding of the construction industry. Other areas of interest will include architecture, listed buildings, ventilation, air conditioning, BMS Controls, HVAC, drainage etc.
An understanding and knowledge of design packages such as Revit and AutoCad is a requirement for the position along with the ability to understand and interpret construction and engineering drawings and 3D modelling.
We are looking for people passionate about design looking to create new concepts and ideas and develop their skills in a busy and exciting working environment. Based at the Portsmouth office there will be opportunities for international travel.
