A well-established design firm is looking for a talented and driven Associate Architect to join their dynamic team in Portsmouth. This collaborative and friendly practice is known for delivering innovative and sustainable designs across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential projects.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and creative Associate Architect with substantial post-Part 3 experience, capable of overseeing projects through all RIBA stages. Strong technical skills, a keen eye for design, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit are essential.

Experience, Responsibilities and Skills for the role of Associate Architect:

ARB registered with Part 3 qualification and extensive leadership experience
Proven ability to lead and manage an architectural department, overseeing teams and projects
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, planning processes, and sustainability best practices
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor staff
Experience in business development, client engagement, and strategic planning
Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects, ensuring quality, deadlines, and budgets are met
Creative problem-solving and innovative design approach
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential
Must be within a commutable distance of Portsmouth
