A well-established design firm is looking for a talented and driven Associate Architect to join their dynamic team in Portsmouth. This collaborative and friendly practice is known for delivering innovative and sustainable designs across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential projects.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and creative Associate Architect with substantial post-Part 3 experience, capable of overseeing projects through all RIBA stages. Strong technical skills, a keen eye for design, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit are essential.

Experience, Responsibilities and Skills for the role of Associate Architect:

  • ARB registered with Part 3 qualification and extensive leadership experience
  • Proven ability to lead and manage an architectural department, overseeing teams and projects
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, planning processes, and sustainability best practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor staff
  • Experience in business development, client engagement, and strategic planning
  • Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects, ensuring quality, deadlines, and budgets are met
  • Creative problem-solving and innovative design approach
