An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Senior Architect to take a leading role in a well-established and thriving architectural practice. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who is effectively running a practice or leading a team and is ready to take ownership of high-profile projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across various sectors, with a particular focus on Ministry of Defence (MOD) projects. They will oversee teams, liaise with clients, and drive the business forward with their expertise and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completion.
Oversee and mentor a team of architects and other construction professionals.
Engage directly with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Drive business development and contribute to the strategic growth of the practice.
Work on MOD-related projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and security protocols.

Ideal Candidate:

ARB/RIBA registered with extensive experience in architecture.
Proven leadership and management skills within a practice or large team.
Strong technical knowledge, particularly in UK planning and building regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and other industry-standard software.
Experience working on MOD projects is highly desirable. Other sectors include Residential, Healthcare and Commercial projects.
Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
