Pricing Analyst

Business Services Group based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, has an opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join their central finance function and undertake a pivotal role in optimising revenue streams and ensuring competitive pricing strategies are in place.What will the Pricing Analyst role involve?

Reporting to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, the key responsibilities of the Pricing Analyst role will include:

• Continuously refine and develop pricing models to adapt to market dynamics and customer preferences;
• Establish and maintain governance, control, and best practices for pricing activities, ensuring adherence to corporate standards and regulatory requirements;
• Set up a pricing control cycle and develop monitoring tools to track pricing performance and compliance.
• Ensure robust data management processes are in place working closely with internal departments to collect and share relevant pricing data.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to gather competitor information and leverage market insights for pricing decisions.

Suitable Candidate for the Pricing Analyst vacancy:

• Applicants for the position will possess a demonstrable financial modelling skills, advanced Excel skills and SQL financial analysis experience;
• Experience with data mining, analytics and forecast techniques will be essential;
• Previous exposure to working within either a Financial or Professional Services environment would be highly advantageous.

• The role will be offered on a hybrid working basis.  The successful applicant must be able to attend the Portsmouth office 3 days a week.
