- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business
- Making the maximisation of profit a priority
- Overseeing the staff, supporting the human resources department
- Communicating with customers via both the phone and in person, ensuring the maximum customer care is provided throughout
- Providing reception with updates and changes in workshop capacity
- Keeping the communications log on the management system up to date
- Supporting senior management, such as the Finance Director, as required, as well as supporting with looking at potential investments and conducting due diligence
- Enforcing quality standards
- Establishing strong working relationships with stakeholders, partners and clients
- Overseeing the running of the workshop, the VDA team, the parts department and the reception desk, providing support in all areas as needed
- Previous Bodyshop management experience
- Excellent leadership abilities, as well as strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good working knowledge of accounts, budgets and fundamentals, as well as the estimating process and systems
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- A commercial mindset - able to identify areas for cost savings and produce forecasting
- A full clean driving license
