Are you a fantastic Facilities and Maintenance Operative who can support the H&S and Compliance activity as well as be a proactive handy person?

Our client is an established business in the heart of Portsmouth who help companies set up, maintain and grow their IT Services. They are looking for an amazing Facilities and Maintenance Operative to join there growing onsite team.

Your main duties would be to carry out all of the facilities and plant maintenance in line with company polices and legislation and first line support for general DIY tasks for the business.

Responsibilities:

  • H&S inspections at local branch and other branches if required.
  • First line maintenance to plant, tools & facilities, inspections on all Plant equipment and other equipment used.
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance checks and tests.
  • Handy Person for General DIY tasks on site.
  • Control general areas (housekeeping, compliance, safety Control & waste collections).
  • Update all paperwork and control systems as required.
  • Work with suppliers where needed, raise PO's for Facilities maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Basic mechanical & electrical knowledge
  • FLT driver (bendy, reach & counterbalance)
  • Warehouse knowledge
  • Health and Safety awareness
  • Flexible attitude and approach to work
  • PC skills using Excel, Word and Outlook
