Job Description:
Managing and overseeing General Services deliverables and projects such as Cleaning, Catering, Grounds Maintenance and office services to ensure delivery on time, quality and cost whilst maintaining customer / stakeholder satisfaction. You will manage suppliers and strategic partners, monitoring, measuring and reviewing performance in line with contractual terms and service deliverable
Their scope of activities will be to meet the changing needs of our business and alignment with annual budgeting, investment requirements and audits.

Core Duties:
- Responsible for supporting General (Soft) Services ensuring any compliance, service delivery and site adherence.
- Supporting management of the variety of Service Providers, working alongside other General Services teams to the agreed KPIs in line with contractual obligations and clients process and procedures
- Budget Management– supporting annual Opex targets with management of risk and opps
- Attendance at custodian reviews / customer meetings to ensure communication of activities, obtain feedback and implement necessary actions when required
- Supporting representation of the UK in transnational activities within General Services scope of activities in defining the transnational strategy
- Support through Administration of Purchase orders, Requisitions and Invoicing would also be a part of the role.
Experience:
- Experienced working with suppliers who provide, cleaning, Catering, maintenance to sites
- Someone used to Industrial and office building/site
- Previous experience of Facility Management or FM Deliverables would be advantageous
- Ability to manage workload with agility and deliver to deadlines
- Health and Safety awareness and interest
- Competent in working to the requirements of processes and procedures
- Financial Management - awareness of Procurement/Purchasing and Tender Processes and processes is advantageous
- Stakeholder management experience
- Ability to work autonomously where required
- Any prior Clean room/pharmaceutical experience or familiarity would be hugely beneficial
**The role will be based at Portsmouth, although may require some level of support to other sites and may involve some occasional travel**
Further Information:
The Site Services Manager will functionally report directly to the UK Head of General Services, operationally integrating with UK leads e.g. The UK Waste Lead. Specific scope of activities will be the support of management of General Services in line with company objectives. Operationally, the position holder will deliver directly or support the operational services that enable our sites and plants to operate in cooperation with Internal and External partners to improve service delivery ensuring delivery on time, quality and cost in the following:
