Class 2 Drivers Wanted!

TLP are looking for a reliable Class 2 HGV Driver looking for flexible part-time work on days? We are seeking enthusiastic drivers to join our team in Gosport on an ad-hoc basis, typically 2-5 shifts per week.

The Role:

You will be responsible for collecting clean recycling bales from commercial businesses across Portsmouth and Southampton. This role will involve:

• Safely and efficiently operating a Class 2 HGV vehicle.
• Conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Loading and unloading recycling bales (plastic, paper, cardboard etc)
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including CPC and Tachograph regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Working effectively as part of a team.

Essential Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 HGV driving licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 6 months of Class 2 HGV driving experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience in multi-drop deliveries.
