Injection Mould Toolmaker. Our client is looking for an experienced Injection Mould Toolmaker to manufacture, repair, and maintain high-quality mould tools, including plastic injection, rubber, compression, silicone, and wax dies. Working with various materials such as aluminium, P20, and fully hardened steels, you will ensure precision and reliability using industry-standard techniques. Toolmaker Key Responsibilities:- Manufacture new production, low-volume, and prototype mould tools to high standards. - Repair and refurbish existing tooling using CAD models, drawings, and sample components. - Perform planned maintenance, identifying and replacing components as needed. - Support tooling trials at customer facilities, addressing issues and providing feedback. - Advise engineers and production teams on tooling best practices. Toolmaker Skills & Experience:- Time-served apprenticeship with at least five years' toolroom experience. - Proficiency in manual machining (mill, lathe, surface grinding). - EDM/Wire EDM experience is desirable. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD data. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, permanent days.
