Interquest have a great opportunity for an experienced engineer that ideally holds current "DV clearance". The role will be long term and offer great opportunity for the right candidate.
Provides technical expertise for appropriate level distributed systems environments on issues related to servers, local services, data centers, server configuration, and to ensure that client needs are met.
Participates in requirements definition, specification, design, development, and integration of Microsoft Windows systems and on projects to ensure services adhere to client specifications.
Tests, integrates, maintains, and addresses escalated problems related to Wintel systems for smaller sized projects, including testing and integrating hardware and software, using appropriate resources.
Provide configuration management, inventory management, fault management, and trouble management support on already established servers and end user devices. Supports maintenance, patching and upgrades of Wintel computer environments.
Performs risk and consequence assessment for projects; assists in identifying cost reduction opportunities to safeguard company and client interests.
Key Responsibilities -

Essential Skills -
Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10 and Active Directory
DV clearance as a minimum
Organisation skills to balance and prioritise work
Communication skills to interact with Management, team members and support staff
Skilled in integrating distributed computing hardware and software systems
Interpersonal skills to interact with customers, team members, and senior level personnel
Ability to work in a team environment that will include providing on call support
Willingness to travel – must have full driving licence
