A leading civil engineering and infrastructure specialist is seeking a Sub Agent to join their dynamic team in Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring project safety, efficiency, and compliance, while leading site teams and liaising with key stakeholders. Sub Agent Job Overview- Health, Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe and organised worksite, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, risk assessments, and environmental policies. Conduct site inspections, incident reporting, and safety briefings.
- Project & Site Management: Oversee daily operations, coordinating labour, materials, and subcontractors. Conduct briefings, manage documentation, and ensure timely project delivery.
- Programme & Client Liaison: Update project schedules, report progress, and liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Technical & Commercial Support: Assist with setting out, procurement, and cost management. Support contract variations and compensation events.
- Leadership & Team Development: Provide guidance, training, and development for site teams, ensuring high standards and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience in a Sub Agent or Site Management role within civil engineering, infrastructure, or coastal or marine works.
- Degree or HND within Civil Engineering
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, environmental management, and quality control.
- CSCS, SMSTS and CPCS Appointed Person
- Temporary Works Coordinator and fire warden advantageous
- Heavy civils, deep drainage and Marine experience desirable
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Proficiency in risk assessment, method statements, and health & safety compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Security clearance will be required.
