The Company: You'll work for an engineering services provider in the water sector who is part of a larger NERS accredited ICP company that operate in both the water and energy sectors. They work with several major water companies across the UK with a broad portfolio of long-term frameworks in place that extend throughout AMP8.
The Role: As a Civil Design Engineer in the water industry, you would be responsible for ensuring that water infrastructure projects are designed to be safe, sustainable and efficient. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, innovative thinking, regulatory knowledge and the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders. You would contribute to improving the management of water resources, ensuring safe drinking water, and preventing environmental hazards like flooding and contamination.
You will join their Southern team to work on a range of clean and wastewater projects both infrastructure and non-infrastructure based. You will be working on a variety of projects for their clients in the South as well as projects across the UK.

Your Background: We're looking for candidates that have previous civil design engineering experience, preferably within the water sector. You'll have strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, water resources management, hydraulics and structural designs.
You'll have experience using design softwares like: AutoCAD, Civil 3D as well as experience in hydraulic modelling tools like: HEC-RAS, EPANET or MIKE21.
You'll also have experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects including budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating teams.
