We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fire Alarm Installation Engineer to join our Projects department on a full-time basis. The role will involve working on large-scale installations primarily in Hampshire and Sussex. You will be responsible for the installation of equipment, electrical wiring, and containment systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure fire alarm systems, CCTV, Intruder alarms and access control in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet installation deadlines and quality requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to fire alarm systems.
- Adhere to relevant regulations and BS5839 Part 1 standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven proficiency in electrical wiring and equipment installation.
- Hands-on experience with fire alarm systems installation.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and BS5839 Part 1.
- Certifications in fire alarm installation and engineering are highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
What We Offer:
- 4 day week (Mon-Thurs) with a 1 in 8 ROTA to work on Friday's. Only time Friday's are worked are during school holidays, until 12pm. this is due to their client base being mostly schools etc.
- It is a 34 hour week, 7.30-16.30 Mon-Thurs.Anything over 34 hours is 1.5 rate. Door to door travel so the engineers see a minimum of 4 hours overtime every week.
- This is a an install role.
- Hourly rate higher than usual to make up for the 4 day week.
- Salaries - 33,000 upwards, dependant on experience.
- Covering Brighton to Southampton (Occasionally as far as Bournemouth too, no London etc)
- Must take pride in giving customer a good experience while on-site.
