We are recruiting an experienced estimator to join an expanding precision engineering company based in Portsmouth. They supply complex components to various sectors including F1, Automotive MOD and Aerospace and you will be working within a small, dedicated team. An engineering/CNC background would be preferred so if you are an experienced machinist looking to step up this could be a great opportunity. There are opportunities to develop and grow with the company with ongoing training.
Responsibilities
Responsible for creating, developing and maintaining a pipeline which will deliver sustainable, profitable growth, tasks will include, but are not limited to:
Prospecting & business development activities.
Arranging and attending on/off-site client meetings.
Estimating and quoting work from technical CAD data.
Project managing the order through to completion.
The Person
Can demonstrate knowledge of machining techniques, ideally from a CNC machining background.
Strong problem-solving and solutions-driven mindset.
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record in driving sustained, profitable growth.
Tool/machine sale knowledge would be an advantage.
Aerospace/Pharmaceutical and MOD knowledge.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
Salary
50-70K (doe)
