CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator

Location: Portsmouth

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm, Friday 7.30am-12.30pm

Annual Salary: 38,000 to 41,500

Contract Type: Permanent

Wild Recruitment are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to join a well known engineering company based in Portsmouth. You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating mills using Fanuc controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme, Setting, and Operating CNC Machinery using Fanuc controls
  • Prove out CNC programs ensuring the highest quality is maintained at all times
  • Ensure the machines processes are running efficiently to maximise productivity
  • Programme parts using SolidCam
  • Maintain highest quality standards including inspecting the manufactured part

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator
  • The ability to work with Fanuc Controls and programme parts using SolidCam
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
