The role involves programming and setting CNC Turning machines using Siemens or Fanuc controls, with a focus on producing small to medium batch components.
Candidates should have previous CNC programming experience, ideally with 5-axis experience and a background in high precision fields such as aerospace or automotive.
The position offers a salary of £13 - £14 per hour, with opportunities for training and development, permanent contracts, and overtime pay.
Applicants should have at least one year of relevant experience and be able to interpret technical drawings and safety instructions.

The Role - CNC Turner, Programmer, SetterAs a successful CNC Turner Programmer Setter you'll be responsible for programming and setting CNC Turning machines using Siemens or Fanuc controls. You'll be working from engineering drawings to produce small to medium batch components.

Responsibilities

Program, Set and Operate CNC Lathes - Siemens or Fanuc controls
Machining to tight tolerances and ensuring quality.
Small batch / One offs
Ideally, the candidate has experience using Siemens or Fanuc controls.
Must have experience with working to tight tolerances.
Good teamwork skills.
Ideally, come from a high precision background - aerospace, automotive, F1, oil & gasAlways adhering to health and safety requirements
General housekeeping duties

Experience Required

Previous CNC Programming experience
5 axis experience
Understanding of technical drawings and be able to interpret safety instructions, specifications, and manuals
High attention to detail
Good communication skills and the ability to work as a team
