  • The role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000, and current SC clearance is required.

Overview of the roleWe are looking for a Project Manager with proven project management experience, excellent leadership and communication skills to join our client, Connected Intelligence, Secure Communications Project Management Team.

The successful applicant will lead the delivery phase of complex military satellite communications projects and provide project initiation and planning expertise in the associated business winning campaigns.

ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:* Project Initiation* Project Planning* Project Execution * Project Monitoring Controlling, Closing of projects* Delivering complex secure communications infrastructure and services.* Managing projects in accordance with the Airbus project lifecycle standards & accountable for the quality, cost and schedule performance of the project

Skillset & ExperienceEssentialA good understanding of the PMI Project Management body of knowledge.A basic understanding of AGILE project management.Solid experience in a similar role of approving initial briefs/baselines, delivering projects and supporting bids in an engineering environment. Ideally, this will be the communications, aerospace, space or defence industries

DesirableA degree or equivalent in project management, business management, or a relevant engineering discipline.A good technical background to support your project management roleSTEM degree or equivalentPMI/PMP certification
