My client is a leading main contractor on the South Coast looking for an experienced Civils Contracts Manager to join their team. They work to incredibly high standards and commercial projects they work on include hospitals, schools, and MOD.

They are looking for a Contracts Manager with experience in Civils and Groundworks (drainage, roads, surfacing, car parks, block work, paving etc) as they are looking to grow the team further.

Their office is based in Portsmouth; however, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of the projects from start through to handover and could have more than one project on the go at any one time.

You will price, plan and programme projects as well as manage the work force, liaise with with clients, and provide relevant reporting.

Role requirements:

• Over 3 years Contract's Manager experience.
• IT literate - able to use Word, Excel etc.
• Excellent communication skills towards sub-contractors, directly employed staff and clients.
• Able to motivate and manage in an effective & pro-active manner.
