Our client, a prestigious provider of training and apprenticeships in the electrical engineering sector, is currently seeking an Electrical Trainer Assessor to join their established team in Portsmouth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality training sessions in electrical engineering to small groups of learners (12-14 students)
  • Conducting on-site training four days a week, with one day allocated to administrative tasks either from home or office
  • Assessing and providing feedback on learner progress and competence
  • Guiding apprentices through their qualifications, ensuring all educational standards are met
  • Collaborating with the existing electrical team to develop and improve course materials
  • Engaging with learners to support their educational and professional development
  • Participating in internal meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of training programmes
  • Preparing and delivering presentations as part of a robust interview process
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on practical, hands-on knowledge
  • Relevant qualifications, including C&G 5357 level 3 Electrical
  • A passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of electrical engineers
  • Ability to deliver engaging and informative training sessions
  • Proficiency in carrying out assessments and providing constructive feedback
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Comfortable with on-site working
  • Ability to work well within a team, contributing to a supportive learning environment
