The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring students continue their learning in the absence of their teacher. You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment, and ensuring classroom behaviour expectations are met. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience before pursuing a teaching qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set work to classes across various subjects.
• Manage student behaviour and ensure a focused learning environment.
• Support students with their learning as needed.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure continuity in education.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning.
