Our client, a leading provider of filtration systems for oil rigs, is seeking a dedicated Finance Assistant/Customer Service Specialist to join their team in Portsmouth.

About Our Client:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily financial operations, including processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling statements.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes, including the preparation of financial reports.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and data entry using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email, providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Assist with order processing, tracking shipments, and managing customer accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance and customer service departments, including filing, data entry, and general office tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is essential.
  • Previous experience in a finance assistant and/or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
