On offer is the opportunity for a SAP Security Analyst to join a leading and globally recognised Engineering, Aerospace and Defence company, that are working some of the most high-tech security and Engineering projects for organisations such the MOD.
The SAP Security Analyst is a key role in the Technical Organisation and is part of the team responsible for the design, configuration and support of the Security and Authorisations for ERP applications (SAP, Success Factors, Business Technology Platform, SAP IdM, SAP Service Cloud, SAP Field Services , Solution Manager, Security Weaver GRC products and other non-SAP Cloud Products) to meet the needs of Business Processes.
This role would suit a SAP Solutions specialist with hands on SAP Service Management / Plant Maintenance and Fleet Operations experience, looking for a new role working for a globally leading Engineering and Defence company where you will be heavily invested in and provided with a clear line of progression.
The Role:
- Provides technical and configuration support in designing and build of SAP and Non-SAP authorisations and roles for all SAP (Neptune) supported systems.
- Develops security roles to minimise business risk and ensure clear Segregation of Duties.
- Understands the business processes and applies that knowledge to develop access controls and solve user access problems.
- Participates in user access requirements gathering, blueprinting and documentation.
- Proposes alternatives based on best practices across the technologies supported.
- Assists in initial testing of problem fixes, change request, enhancements, and new functionality in all projects.
- Works with the Service Desk and other support teams to facilitate incident and problem resolution.
- Keeps abreast of SAP and other industry security updates.
- Takes responsibility for quality of work performed.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the relationship of own specialisation to the rest of the department and the rest of the organization.
- Understands and applies business methodologies and procedures.
The Person:
- Hands-on SAP Service Management / Plant Maintenance and Fleet Operations experience or similar
- Ability to gain SC Security Clearance
- Must be a British National
