About the EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant role:

  • We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with Special Educational Needs (SEN) as a Teaching Assistant.
  • In this Teaching Assistant role, you will work closely with teaching staff to help deliver a stimulating, inclusive, and engaging learning environment, tailored to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • This is a full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant opportunity starting immediately, perfect for someone passionate about making a real difference in a child's educational journey.

As an EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly in an EYFS setting.
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in an educational or childcare environment.
  • A calm, nurturing, and patient approach, with a strong focus on inclusion.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
  • Two professional references - at least one from a childcare/education setting.
