What will you be doing?

You will act as the Electrical Engineering Technical Authority on several small COMAH sites dotted around the UK.
You will ensure Electrical systems and equipment are safe, reliable, robust and conform with company and regulatory policy, taking technical responsibility for the continuous improvement, maintenance and operation of high voltage electrical equipment located within the site's electrical distribution systems.
You'll produce scopes of work at concept, FEED and detailed design level for Electrical systems and equipment.
You'll monitor progress, resource and expenditure of projects carried out by contractors to ensure the achievement of the company strategic plan.


Where will you be doing it?

Working from home, you will travel to the several COMAH sites as and when required.


What will you need?

You must be degree qualified (or similar) in an Electrical engineering discipline, with a strong background in electrical maintenance and good experience or knowledge in electrical projects and design, preferably within a highly regulated industry/operation.
You must be able to demonstrate a very strong knowledge of high voltage system operation and safe working practices and experience of Electrical engineering design and installations in hazardous area process plant environments.
Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
