Job Title: Senior Electronic EngineerLocation: Portsmouth Industry: AerospaceSalary: £50,000-£65,000 Owen Daniels is partnered with an Aerospace business who have an opportunity for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their team.The Senior Electronic Engineer will have in depth knowledge of analogue, digital and power electronics and associated tools for design, development, and implementation of products.  Responsibilities:
  • As a senior electronic engineer you will be the subject matter expert for all electronic products. 
  • Support Engineering manager and Program Managers with technical input. 
  • Lead the analog/power electronics design function within projects. 
  • Execution of highly technical electronics products from concept creation to design, development, qualification, and industrialisation.
  • Lead product investigation and liaise with customer and suppliers as required to resolve reliability as well as manufacturability issues in a timely manner.
  • Leadership skills and ability to train junior employees
Skills:
  • Engineering degree in Electronics or similar
  • Aerospace or Defence Industry experience - Good undertsandiung of Aerospace standards 
  • Full development lifecycle experience
  • Analogue and Digtial circuit design
  • Power electronics design experience
  • Understanding of EMC
