Facilities Electrical Technician

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000/annum (depending on skills and experience)

Location: Portsmouth

Hours: 39 Hours/week

Are you an experienced Facilities Electrical Technician looking for your next career move?

Do you want to work for a manufacturing company specialising in the innovative design and production of electrical / electronic components?

We are recruiting for a multiskilled Facilities Electrical Technician to join the site services team. This role will be working in close collaboration with our Site Services Manager. You will be responsible for the day-to-day facilities coordination and maintenance of Harwins UK sites with electrical installation and decommissioning.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary of £35,000 - £45,000/annum (depending on skills and experience)

Role:

Facilities coordination

Building maintenance and repairs.Responding to reactive calls, carry out first fix where possible.

Liaison with contractors and subcontractors

New machine installation and decommissioning

Data connection and electrical duties

To partake in the on-call rota on a rotational basis.Being responsible to attend any the Harwin sites when there is requirement to do so out of hours and/or at weekends for such cases as alarm activations or any other routine maintenance.

Requirements:

City and Guilds 18th Edition Certificate

Qualified to Part 1 & 2 City and Guilds for electrical installation

Demonstratable experience in general/building maintenance or as a facilities technician

Experience of electrical installations and decommissioning

Multitasking and ability to prioritise

Flexibility to work on call
