Sonic Summary

We are currently seeking ELECTRICIANS for a position at Portsmouth Naval Base with a contract length of 6-12 months, potentially extendable.
Candidates should have completed an appropriate trade apprenticeship or a naval equivalent qualification and possess marine or offshore experience.
The role involves reading electrical drawings, conducting electrical testing on various voltage systems, and performing installation and maintenance of communications equipment.
A salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per year is offered, depending on experience.
Applicants must have a good understanding of safe systems of work, including electrical work in confined spaces and at height.

We are currently looking for ELECTRICIANS to join on behalf of our client at Portsmouth Naval Base. The contract length will be for 6-12 months with a possibility for extension

What you'll be doing:
• Reading/Interpreting Electrical Drawings, MDS and Guidance information
• Carrying out Electrical Testing on 12v, 24v, 110v, 240v & 440v systems
• Executing various crimping techniques and soldering
• Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance and defect rectification in accordance with the project schedules to meet customer quality expectations
• Installation, testing and maintenance of communications equipment such as VHF radios, Intercom, GPS and AIS
• Fault diagnosis and defect rectification
• Carrying out detailed inspections and be fully conversant in the use of all measuring equipment's
• Using of calibrating measurement equipment

Your skills and experiences:
• Have completed an appropriate trade apprenticeship or naval equivalent qualification
• Good understanding of safe systems of work including electrical work, confined spaces & working at height
• Marine or offshore experience with a deep understanding of electrical work
